Professional experience

John has been an accountant for over 40 years, during which time he has worked in audit, business advisory and management consulting across a variety of industry sectors in both Domestic and International markets. As a Consultant of Business Advisory, he now puts his wide-ranging expertise to good use whilst advising clients on strategic planning, business planning, structuring and restructuring.  

John is focused on building value in his client’s businesses. He aims to develop frank, honest and open relationships with his clients in order to discover what their motivations are and how he can best help them to achieve their goals. He also builds a high level of trust in his client relationships so that his clients feel as though he has their backs.

John aims to “make the difficult look simple”. He communicates with his clients on a level that they can easily understand. He is always looking to make a difference in people’s lives and will happily go the extra mile to help his clients when they need him.

His passion for helping organisations to succeed extends to a raft of positions with not-for-profit and community welfare organisations. John sits on a number of School Boards and advises many others in relation to financial management and planning. He is well respected for his work with Independent Schools and holds an Order of Australia Medal for his service to education.
